This knife for auction is one of the excellent case 1989 issue centennial collection knives, produced as a part of the case centennial celebration in 1989. This knife for auction is a variation of hte case 11 1/2 pattern, the case genuine stag 5111 1/2 ss, 4 3/8 closed. The etching on the clip blade reads case xx tested centennial 1889-1989 and the fornt tang of the blade is pattern stamped with 5111 1/2 ss. The blade has good walk and takl snap. The shiedl is the special encircled case centennial shield this shield was used exclusively for the case centennial collection knives in 1989. Please see the supersize hpotos for the beautiful matched pair of genuine stag. The blade is prodcued with case tru sharp surgical cutlery steel. Additionally, the winning bidder will receive a copy of the certificate of authenticity which was issued with the 1989 case centennial mint set.
